This K-pop Group Is Speaking At The’73rd General Assembly of the United Nations’

The ceremonial even for the ‘Generation Unlimited‘ is part of a new global partnership with UNICEF which is aimed at teens and young adults aged between 10-24.
It was announced that K-pop boy group BTS is scheduled to perform and give a 3-minute speech in front of officials and heads of state at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on September 24.
This is the first time a K-pop group has been invited to the ‘General Assembly of the United Nations’.
The event will be attended by high authority figures such as secretary general of the UN Antonio Guterres, the executive director of UNICEF Henrietta Fore, the first lady of South Korea Kim Jung Sook, and more are scheduled to attend the ceremony.
BTs has previously worked with UNICEF ambassador for the ‘Love Yourself’ campaign for the past 2 years. Working with them to collect many donations, which come from the sales of their ‘Love Yourself’ album series and any sales that come from the official goods for the LOVE MYSELF campaign and more.
BTS continues their tour of America with a tightly packed schedule. They will be giving their speech at the UN on the 24th, and guesting and performing on ‘The Tonight Show’ on the 25th, performing on  ‘Good Morning America’ on the 26th as well as completing two performances for their ‘Love Yourself World Tour” at the Prudential Center on the 28th and 29th.
