There’s going a be a K-pop film!?! :O

According to reports, there is a new U.S film about K-pop currently in production!

Yesterday, it was revealed that the film company Foxx 2000 now holds rights to a film that has been pitched by Scooter Braun’s SB Projects and Epic Magazine.  For those who are unaware SB Projects manages artists such as Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, the company also represents artists such as PSY  and CL in the United States.

Reports on the movie’s story is said to be “the story of an Asian-American college student from the United States who becomes a top competitor on South Korea’s toughest K-Pop Competition show.”

The information on the movie that has been released is about who is writing the screenplay ( Elyse Hollander- “Blonde Ambition”), Scott Braun, James Shin, and Arthur Spector will be producing the film.

With SB Projects’ Scott Manson, Epic Magazine’s Joshua Bearman, and Bellevue Productions’ John Zaozirny will be executive producers, with Fox 2000’s Erin Siminoff and Jiao Chen overseeing the project.
