BTS’s “Fake Love” Becomes Their 3rd Song To Be Gold Certified By RIAA!

the RIAA or “Recording Industry Association of America” has now given another BTS song its gold certification!!

After updating their website it was revealed that the title track  ‘Fake Love’ from BTS’ latest album “Love Yourself: Tear” had surpassed 500,000 ‘Units’ and therefore makes the song certified gold! A single permanent digital download counts as one unit, and 150 on-demand audio and/or video streams count as one unit.

BTS had also previously become the first Korean group to achieve a gold certification from the RIAA- their first certification being their track “MIC Drop,” and then their second feat being “DNA.”

PSY was the first Korean artist with a track that was gold certified by the RIAA, which he achieved with “Gangnam Style.”

Fan’s can expect the group to continue this record as they are preparing for their repackaged album  “Love Yourself: Answer.”
